The new composite wheels are fitted on the updated 2012 model. The impression also shows the new Carbon Ceramic brakes, reducing a total of 24,5 kg on the brake system!
These wheels are manufactured with a combination of magnesium and carbon fibre and reduces the weight by almost 50%! They are designed by Savage Rivale and manufactured by our partner NRG Wheels. This time the Roadyacht GTS is colored Belize Blue…

Savage Rivale’s prototype Roadyacht GTS endured a fierce test in the Pyrenees last week. The mountainous terrain and 400km per day runs created a wealth of information on car handling, performance, and “enjoyability”. Because we were part of a luxury tour initiative, Cruise to Se7en, we were able to benchmark with the established order of supercars.
Cruise to Se7en is an initiative by Leon Beenen, a sportive luxury tour through a different part of Europe every year. Constants are the amazing sceneries and the high standard of hotels and dinners during the ride. This year’s tour took us together with over twenty equips from the Mediterranean – Carcassonne all the way to the Atlantic – Bordeaux.
The feedback we received was constructive to say the least! A few minor design changes were suggested. Furthermore, we will adjust ride height and suspension stiffness slightly. After a test of over 1500km we’re confident in the future of our concept!
The crowds were cheering for supercar rubber and revving engines last weekend in Le Mans. The Parade des Pilotes is a classic event through the center of Le Mans where the race drivers officially greet all fans and supporters. Savage Rivale was there!
This year the Savage Rivale team was invited to stay at Chateau de Montbraye, just outside Le Mans, together with other supercar brands like Spyker, Gumpert, and Bugatti.
We decided to drive all the way from the Netherlands to Le Mans, proving that the first Roadyacht GTS is a fine GT that covers great distances with several people just as easily as showing off during an event like Parade des Pilotes!
Savage Rivale is featured on the tracks this season as the official pace car in the Dutch Supercar Challenge. This weekend the TT-circuit in Assen will be the proving grounds for Savage Rivale!
By the end of next week, we will be cruising towards Le Mans, in order to take part in the Parade des Pilotes 2011. Chateau de Montbraye will be the centre of another extraordinary introduction to the 24h of Le Mans. Hope to see you there!
Savage Rivale went back to her breeding grounds in Monte Carlo. The beautiful coastal area sparked Savage Rivale’s designer Emile Pop several years ago to create the first Roadyacht GTS.
The Top Marques Monaco show in April was an extraordinary event hosting some of the world’s most luxurious yachts, watches, and most importantly supercars. We received amazing responses from press, visitors, and colleagues at the show. We owe a big thank you to the Friends of Savage Rivale, those who choose to support us in our cause mentally as well as financially, reaching from Den Haag (NL) all the way to Shanghai (CN). Together with them we continue to explore these fantastic adventures.
The week after the show Monaco was the stage for filming our first short production. Mountain roads, the beautiful harbor, and the Mediterranean sun proved to be the perfect ingredients for ‘un film extraordinaire’.
Birth of a legend
Barely three weeks ago, Savage Rivale announced the birth of new legend by developing the GTR, a race version of the Roadyacht GTS.
At this moment we can inform you that GTR #001 is sold and it will see the first light of day in September 2011 as it will be unveiled @ the Monaco yacht show.
Based on the same 6.2 L V8 layout, performance and durability are assured. The GTR however has exaggerated 0-100 acceleration and top speed , due to the weight of under 1.000kg. Find out yourself and contact us for further information on ordering or testing this newborn legend.
